Location
This compact medieval town is built on the islands of five branches of the Sorgue river, 7 km downstream from its source at Fontaine-de-Vaucluse. The river flows through, past, in and around the town.
The town is famous for its many antique shops and hosts general and antique markets every Sunday. It has many waterside cafés and restaurants, all within walking distance of each other. Its many attractive water wheels throughout the town are still running.
